  • Seaport Inn is centrally located on Newfoundland’s beautiful Bonavista Peninsula, making it the perfect basecamp for exploring nearby attractions including Trinity, Bonavista Lighthouse, Elliston Puffin Site, Skerwink Trail, Dungeon Provincial Park, and Port Rexton Brewery.

  • Yes! Guests are within easy driving distance of some of Newfoundland’s most scenic coastal hiking trails, including Skerwink Trail and Fox Island Trail. The area also offers whale watching, puffin viewing, photography opportunities, scenic coastal drives, and historic communities to explore.

  • Newfoundland weather can change quickly, even during summer months. We recommend packing layers, a waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and warm clothing for evenings along the coast.

  • Yes. While the water may occasionally appear slightly off-colour due to naturally occurring minerals and organic matter common in rural Newfoundland water systems, it is regularly tested and safe for bathing and everyday use.

  • Our restaurant hours in peak season are:

    • Sunday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

    • Friday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

  • During the early and shoulder seasons, the front desk is not staffed full-time. Guests arriving after hours will have their room keys prepared and available for pickup at the front desk. If you need assistance during your stay, our team can be reached at 709-766-1347.

    During peak season June-August our front desk will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
